As i explained in former posts Islam needs to be influential regarding every individual’s regards in law order and construct.Of course People know that they cannot live in a vacuum.So they will have to deal with those who are not part of the faith.As i have explained for Islam sees those who leave it as the greatest threat because they undermine the faith’s legitimacy.Islam is a dominating faith and thus it takes no reason not to control who are not members of this faith without a good reason.After all Mohammed did invade areas that did not accept his message.and assassinate those who dare pose a threat to him i would post the many many hadiths regarding these affairs but i invite you to read “the book of military expeditions from Saheh Bukhari ” a big and healthy collection from Sahehs regarding Mohammed’s assassinations and warfare.i will save you the trouble here: http://sunnah.com/bukhari/6.But if you are not going to bother reading the huge book i will make it simple with one Hadith Mohameed told the Jews “Embrace Islam and you will be safe” Saheh Bukari Or face the dreadful fate of Banu Quriza whom all of their men where slaughtered and all their women and children were enslaved.
Muhammed seemed rather inconsistent regarding how to treat the women and children of none believers.At one point he hates getting them killed “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw a woman who was killed in one of his expeditions, so he disapproved the killing of women and children” Hadith Sahehas But if they die he shows no disapproval as exampled by:”‘The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about the polytheists who are attacked at night, and their women and children are killed.’ He said: ‘They are from among them.’”.Saheh Muslim.Like most religions Islam needs a strong sense of Us Vs them to function.The quran continuously uses this to ensure that the relationship between believers and none believers are at absolute minimum.Examples:o you who believed, do not take the jews and chirstians as allies,they are allies to each other and whoever is an ally to them among you is among them,indeed allah does not guide the wrong doers” 5:51 Surah Al-Maiidah.It is obvious that the verse applies to none believers in general.
Muslims are not allowed to start greeting with none-believers and may only respond with *and on you* if greeted as the hadith states “I am riding to the Jews tomorrow. Do not initiate the greeting with them, and if they greet you, then say: Wa ‘alaikum (and also upon you)”.Muslim women are NOT allowed to marry none believers and Muslim men may only marry Jewish or christian none believers so long as the children are not taught their mother’s religion.As for none beleivers under islamic rule they must pay the Jizyah *the none beliver’s tax* well…the quran says it best :”Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah underhanded and they are belittled” Surah At-Tubah 9:29.The examples like this areplenty in the quran and sunnah
Well i believe i explained Islam’s absolute basics more than enough for you my dear reader.I leave you be the judge and i personally highly recommend actually reading their holy book and hadith *Bukari and Muslim preferred so that Muslims don’t accuse you of using a weak hadith” to see for yourself the harm and pain involved.
